Leveraging Lean through COVID 19

Join Lean Construction ANZ for a webinar on Leveraging Lean through COVID 19

Next Thursday evening’s webinar (3 September at 5.30pm) is a very special session as we are being joined all the way from Boston USA by Dr Cynthia Tsao.  Cynthia did doctoral studies on Lean Construction at UC Berkeley with Iris Tommelein, Glenn Ballard, and Greg Howell as advisors (Glenn and Greg started LCI in the US) and spent some time consulting with Hal Macomber (recipient of LCI USA’s Chairman’s Award). As a lean consultant, she has personally coached over 80 construction superintendents in lean implementation. Before consulting, Cynthia developed an operational structure for LCI USA and coordinated its growth from 3 to 17 Communities of Practice over a 3 year period. Add to this a number of accredited papers and citations, being a University lecturer and also founder and owner of Navilean LLC and non-profit organisation Building AEC Learning (BAECL). She has a wealth of knowledge and experience that she brings to our industry.

Her topic ‘Leveraging Lean During COVID-19’ will help to demonstrate how using Lean principles and techniques can help introduce and maintain order and structure on our projects during these difficult times.  The interactive session will run for 90 minutes rather than 60 and will be one that promises to be insightful and informative.
